What can I expect in our 15 minute consultation?

Your consultation is a chance for you and your therapist to get to know each other. Your therapist will tell you more about their approach to therapy and answer any questions you may have about the process. We also use this time to hear what you are looking for in therapy to make sure we have the competency & expertise in that area. A consultation offers an opportunity to connect, learn more about what you’re looking for in therapy, and get a sense of how it feels to talk together. It allows you to determine whether the therapist and practice feel like a good fit for your needs.

Do you take insurance?

As an out-of-network practice, you may be eligible for reimbursement through your insurance plan. We provide the necessary documentation to help you submit claims to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. To determine your specific out-of-network benefits and the amount you may be eligible to receive, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly and asking about your out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy services.

How long will I be in therapy for?

The length of therapy is different for everyone and depends on your individual needs, goals, and circumstances. Some clients come to therapy with a specific concern and may choose to conclude treatment once they feel they have addressed it. Others may benefit from longer-term therapy to explore deeper-rooted patterns, ongoing concerns, or personal growth.

Together, you and your therapist will develop a treatment plan that feels right for you. As your needs and goals evolve, your treatment can evolve with you.

What is your cancellation policy?

Lindsay Mann Therapy has a 24 hour cancellation policy. There will be no fee if cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
