Lindsay is the founder of Lindsay Mann Therapy, where she is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized support to help clients navigate life’s challenges, deepen their self-understanding, and reclaim a sense of agency and purpose in your life. Lindsay holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from New York University and completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at Syracuse University, where she graduated summa cum laude.

Lindsay believes therapy should be a collaborative process that feels both supportive and honest. In her work, she brings warmth, empathy, humor, and compassion, while remaining direct where it matters most. Her goal is to help clients look beneath the surface, challenge patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and approach difficult emotions with curiosity rather than judgment. Together with her clients, she addresses immediate, day-to-day concerns while simultaneously exploring the deeper experiences and influences that shape who they are.

Areas of Focus & Therapeutic Approach

As a relational and depth-oriented therapist, Lindsay utilizes an integrative clinical approach. She blends psychodynamic, relational, and trauma-informed therapies with practical, evidence-based tools drawn from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). This balance allows her to help clients explore root causes while equipping them with concrete skills to manage emotions, reduce symptoms, and navigate everyday challenges with greater confidence.

Lindsay specializes in working with adults navigating:

  • Anxiety disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Body image concerns and disordered eating

  • Relationship dynamics and interpersonal challenges

  • Major life transitions and identity shifts

  • Self-esteem and self-worth concerns

  • Personal growth, self-actualization, and values-aligned living (helping clients break through creative or professional blocks, clarify goals, and build a more purposeful life)

Ultimately, Lindsay aims to empower her clients to feel more secure in their ability to navigate life's complexities and make authentic choices that align with their values.
